1. GENERAL
The normal operating procedures, included in this chapter, contain items peculiar to the CL–604
Challenger airplane. These checks and procedures are defined as being fundamental to the
normal safe operation of the airplane, and are supplementary to normal procedures common to
the operation of any modern transport jet airplane.
These normal procedures have been developed and recommended by Bombardier, and
approved by Transport Canada, for use in the operation of the CL–604 Challenger airplane.
These procedures are provided as guidance, and should not be construed as prohibiting the
development of equivalent Transport Canada-approved procedures.
