controls with the control surfaces locked

for too much play. Do the test at the top of
the control stick.

− 10 mm (0.375 in)

pre-load. With the flaps set to CRUISE in
the up position.
− Correct pre-load:
30 - 50 N (6.7 - 11.2 lbs)

11. Examine the airplane. Look especially for
loose items and tools. Close all access
panels. Install these items:
− Engine cowlings.
− The instrument panel cover.
− The seat shells.
− The control-stick boots.
