The fuel distribution valve supplies the metered fuel to eight fuel injector supply manifolds. Each manifold supplies fuel to three fuel injectors.
The fuel distribution valve also has a strainer that cleans the fuel before the fuel goes to the fuel injector supply manifolds.
Fuel Injectors
The 24 fuel injectors spray fuel into the engine for combustion.
BEJ ALL POST SB 777-71-0032 Fuel Bypass Valve
The FMU sends FMU bypass fuel back through the fuel pump to the fuel bypass valve. The bypass valve sends this fuel back to the FOC.

At low engine power, the FMU bypass fuel mixes with the boost stage fuel and goes through both cores of the FOC. At high engine power, the bypass fuel flows only through the engine core of the FOC.

ENGINE FUEL CONTROL -INTRODUCTION

General
The engine fuel control system components control the flow of fuel to the engine for combustion (metered fuel). They also maintain the proper fuel temperature.
System sensors supply information that is necessary for proper operation.
Some components control the application of power to engine components. Others supply interfaces with the airplane.

ENGINE FUEL CONTROL -GENERAL DESCRIPTION

General
The EEC is the primary component of the engine fuel control system. The EEC uses data from engine sensors and airplane systems to control the engine operation.
Power
The EEC gets power from the airplane electrical system or the and permanent magnet alternator (PMA). The electrical load management system (ELMS) supplies airplane power to the EEC when any of these conditions occur:
