ENGINE FUEL CONTROL -EEC SENSOR INPUTS
Engine Fuel System
The fuel flow transmitter sends the engine fuel flow rate to the EEC. The EEC sends fuel flow data to the AIMS for indication.
The fuel temperature thermocouple measures the temperature of the fuel at the fuel oil cooler. The EEC uses this signal to control fuel and oil temperature.
The fuel filter differential pressure switch monitors the condition of the fuel filter. The EEC sends a signal to the AIMS to cause a flight deck effect.
Engine Oil System
The oil pressure transmitter sends oil pressure to the EEC. The EEC sends oil pressure to the AIMS for indication.
The oil temperature sensor measures the temperature of the oil at the oil tank. The EEC uses this signal to control fuel and oil temperature.
The oil filter differential pressure switch monitors the condition of the engine pressure oil filter.
Engine Component Position
LVDTs on the nacelle zone ventilation shutoff valve send valve position to the EEC.
EFFECTIVITY

LVDTs on the turbine case cooling (TCC) air valve actuator send position signals to the EEC. The EEC uses the signals to find the position of the LPT and HPT air valves.
An LVDT on the turbine vane cooling (TVC) air valve actuator sends position signals to the EEC. The EEC uses the signals to find the position of the TVC air valve.
An LVDT in the VSV actuator sends the actuator position to the EEC. The EEC uses the signal find VSV position.
An RVDT in the 2.5 bleed valve actuator sends actuator position to the EEC. The EEC uses the signal to find 2.5 bleed valve position.
