Component Locations
The fuel supply line goes from the right side of the engine strut down to the fuel pump.
The fuel distribution valve attaches to the right side of the high pressure compressor (HPC) case with a bracket. It is behind the fuel supply line. The forward section of the valve connects to the fuel flow transmitter.
The fuel pump attaches to the forward, right face of the main gearbox.
The fuel filter is in the fuel pump assembly right side.

The fuel bypass valve attaches to the left side of the fuel pump.
BEJ ALL
The fuel injector supply manifolds (8) and fuel injectors (24) attach to the diffuser case around the engine.

ENGINE FUEL DISTRIBUTION -FUEL PUMP
General
The fuel pump pressurizes and cleans the fuel from the airplane fuel system. It contains a low pressure boost stage pump and a high pressure main stage pump that supplies fuel to these components:
*
Fuel oil cooler (FOC)
*
Servo fuel heater
*
Fuel metering unit (FMU).
The fuel pump has these components:
* Fuel pump filter element

* Fuel pump filter differential pressure switch.
The FMU attaches to the forward side of the fuel pump.
Component Location
You must open the right thrust reverser to get acccess to the fuel pump on the forward side of the main gearbox.
The pump mounting flange has five key hole slots and one anti-rotation hole. Bolts attach the pump to the gearbox through the slots and anti-rotation hole.
Fuel Pump Filter Element
A filter housing is part of the fuel pump. It contains a disposable fuel filter element. You drain the fuel from the housing with the drain plug before you remove the filter element.
