SATCOM Sub-menu
The SATCOM sub-menu lets the flight crew see the SATCOM STATUS messages. The status message field holds the 25 most recent messages. The newest messages show first. These are the possible SATCOM messages:

VHF Sub-menu
The VHF sub-menu lets the flight crew set the radio transmission mode and select the VHF radio as the default data radio (right or center only). The graphic shows the power up default selections.
The sub-menu also shows VHF status messages. The status message field holds the 25 most recent messages. The newest messages show first. These are the possible VHF messages:

ADS Sub-menu
The ADS sub-menu lets the flight crew arm the automatic dependent surveillance (ADS) system or turn it off. It also shows the status messages for the ADS system.

DCMS -FDCF PRINTER AND AUTOMATIC MESSAGES SUB-MENUS
Printer Sub-menu
The printer sub-menu lets the flight crew send future uplink company messages to the printer. You can not print messages that do not have a print format. Uplink messages with a print format go to the printer when you select the COMPANY MESSAGES FUTURE button. They do not show on the display.
The printer sub-menu also shows printer status messages. The possible messages are:

PRINTER NOT OPERABLE
*
PRINTER OPERABLE
*
PRINT BUFFER FULL
*
COMPANY FUTURE MESSAGES TO PRINTER-ON
*
COMPANY FUTURE MESSAGES TO PRINTER-OFF.
The status message field holds the 12 most recent messages. The newest messages show first.
The RETURN and EXIT buttons show on the display.
Automatic Messages Sub-menu
The automatic messages sub-menu controls the FDCF downlink message function. The flight crew must confirm the AUTOMATIC MESSAGE OFF selection. To do this, select the CONFIRM OFF selector. A check mark in the button box and the AUTOMATIC MESSAGE OFF shows.
These are the automatic status messages that show:

System Information Sub-menu
The system information sub-menu gives the flight crew a central location to see all manager status messages. The most recent 100 messages show at the top of the list.
