(1) Lubricate the trunnion (4) and the idler link (13) with BMS 3-33 grease through the grease fittings (Section A-A). BMS 3-33 (recommended), BMS 3-24 (optional).
NOTE: Turn the parts to make sure that there is sufficient
____ lubrication, and remove any unwanted grease from the parts.

Do a check for the permitted wear on the PCA attach points
(AMM 27-31-05/601).

Clean the mating surfaces between the PCA (9) and the trunnion (4), and remove all of the remaining sealant.

Apply a layer of sealant to the faying surface of the PCA (9) and put the PCA against the faying surface of the trunnion (4).

Install the bolts (1), washers (2), and nuts (3) to the PCA with wet sealant.
