ELEVATOR INDEX PLATE - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains steps to remove and install the elevator index plates.
B. The steps to remove and install the left index plate are the same as the steps for the right index plate.
C. It is important to mark the exact location of the initial index plate before removal. If you can not find the location of the initial index plate, it will be necessary to use special tooling to make sure the index plate is installed in the correct location.

(2) Pressurize the right and center hydraulic systems (Ref 29-11-00).
