ELEVATOR CONTROL SYSTEM - ADJUSTMENT/TEST

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains these tasks for the operational test, adjustment, and system tests for the elevator control system:

Elevator Control System - Adjustment
(3)
Elevator Control System - System Test
(4)
Elevator Column and Quadrant Override Test
(5)
Elevator Pressure Bypass Valve Test (Procedure 1 and 2)

B.
The "Elevator Control System - System Test" task contains the instructions to do tasks "Elevator Column and Quadrant Override Test" and "Elevator Pressure Bypass Valve Test (Procedure 1 and 2)" shown above. Thus, if you do all the steps in the "Elevator Control System - System Test" task, it will not be necessary to do tasks "Elevator Column and Quadrant Override Test" and "Elevator Pressure Bypass Valve Test (Procedure 1 and 2)".
Tasks "Elevator Column and Quadrant Override Test" and "Elevator Pressure Bypass Valve Test (Procedure 1 and 2)" are necessary only for scheduled maintenance.
