GUN 051; Up to 6 alphanumeric characters, 0.165 inches high, identify one of the following: EPR (or N1), MACH, MACH LIM, IDLE, IAS, IAS LIM, FLAP LIM, ALPHA, TEST, THR HOLD, or blank. This display is located on the left side, top line, for single line messages. For two-line messages, the second line appears on the middle line. If there is also an AFDS pitch approach armed mode message to be displayed, the 2-line TMS message has priority. The LIM messages appear in yellow; all others are green.GUN 001-050, 052-999; Up to 6 alphanumeric characters, 0.165 inches high, identify one of the following: EPR (or N1), MACH, MACH LIM, IDLE, IAS, IAS LIM, FLAP LIM, TEST, THR HOLD, or blank. This display is located on the left side, top line, for single line messages. For two-line messages, the second line appears on the middle line. If there is also an AFDS pitch approach armed mode message to be displayed, the 2-line TMS message has priority. The LIM messages appear in yellow; all others are green. The speed deviation scale is a fixed white symbol on the left side of the EADI. It consists of a large central diamond and two smaller diamonds (above and below) indicating the |10 knots deviation. A corresponding F (top) and S (bottom) indicate fast or slow. The speed deviation pointer is a magenta colored rectangle immediately to the right of the deviation scale. It is capable of vertical deflection to |12.5 knots.Three green digits, 0.225 inches high, followed by FT,
0.165 inches high, indicate the distance from the airplane to the far end of the runway. This is displayed in hundreds of feet during rollout, when the AFDS is in the autoland configuration and the airplane is below 500 feet.

r) GUN 051; the localizer deviation scale is at the bottom center of the EADI in white symbols. The standard scale is |2 dots when A/P or F/D is in LOC ARM mode. The outer dot represents |0.155 DDM (Difference in Depth of Modulation). An expanded scale of |0.5 dot is used when the A/P or F/D is in LOC ENG. The outer dot represents 0.388 DDM.
s) GUN 001-050, 052-999; the localizer deviation scale is at the bottom center of the EADI in white symbols. The standard scale is |2 dots when A/P or F/D is in LOC ARM or B/CRS ARM mode. The outer dot represents |0.155 DDM (Difference in Depth of Modulation). An expanded scale of |0.5 dot is used when the A/P or F/D is in LOC ENG or B/CRS ENG. The outer dot represents 0.388 DDM.
t) The localizer deviation pointer is magenta and appears whenever the LOC deviation scale is in view. It is rectangular and is capable of |0.73 inch deflection left and right of center. Maximum deviation represents |0.17 DDM (2.2 dots) against the standard scale and |0.0485 (0.625 dot) against the expanded scale.
u) The G/S deviation scale is a vertical scale on the right side of the EADI. The symbols are white. The standard scale is |2 dots when the A/P or F/D is in G/S ARM or G/S ENG. The outer dot represents |0.175 DDM.
v) The G/S deviation pointer is a magenta colored, truncated triangle capable of vertical movement inside the scale. Maximum deflection is |0.193 DDM (2.2 dots).
2) EADI - AFDS Displays - Abnormal (Fig. 14) a) If pitch or roll data is invalid the following display elements are removed: horizon line, pitch attitude scale lines, roll pointer, sky/ground shading and pitch reference line. A yellow, rectangular flag with black letters ATT appears in area 7. A No Computed Data (NCD) condition removes the display elements, but the flag does not appear.
