 NOTE: The MCDP shows FCC # FAIL for a FCC that had a self-test
____ failure when it went into GRD TEST MODE. The MCDP shows FCC interface faults related to the wheel force transducer. The MCDP shows a message to make sure hydraulic power is supplied. A person is then told to move the control wheel fully clockwise, then fully counter-clockwise, and then release. Fault messages are shown as applicable. If two tranducers are installed, separate messages for the left and the right transducers will show.

 (1)  Align the Left, the Center, and the Right Inertial Reference Systems in the NAV MODE (Ref 34-21-00).
 NOTE:____It takes 10 minutes to initialize the IRS. The MCDP self-test can be done during the IRS initialization.

_______ IT IS NECESSARY TO MOVE THE THRUST LEVERS DURING THIS TEST WHICH CAN CAUSE SPEEDBRAKE MOVEMENT IF HYDRAULIC POWER IS ON. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT .
 (2)  Do Spoiler/Speedbrake Deactivation procedure (Ref 27-61-00).
