 (4)  Slowly decrease the pressure on the variable vacuum source until the flow control unit comes on.

 (5)  Do a visual check that these things occur: (a) Flow control unit comes on at a vacuum pressure of 18.11 to 17.30 inches Hg absolute (equivalent to 13,250 to 14,400 foot altitude). (b) All the oxygen box doors unlatch. (c) SUPRNMRY OXY ON advisory message shows on the EICAS. (d) Indicators on the flow control unit move to ON.

 (6)  Open some of the mask shutoff valves in the oxygen boxes to bleed the system down.
 NOTE:____ The pressure must be decreased to 10 psig before you do the remaining test.

 (7)  Slowly decrease the pressure on the variable vacuum source to 9.72 inches Hg absolute (equivalent to 28,000-foot altitude).

(a) Calculate the absolute pressure (psia) as follows: 1) Use a barometer to determine the field atmospheric pressure (in inches of mercury). _______________ in HG. 2) Divide field atmospheric pressure (above number) by 2.036. Result = __________________. 3) Add the result to the gage pressure (as shown on the 0-150 psi presssure gage). Result + pressure = _______ (total).

 Carefully push a 1/4-inch Allen wrench or metal rod through the access hole and lift the plunger on the latch.
