 D.  Lifting a damaged airplane is covered in Airplane Recovery Document D6-40146.
 E.  When necessary to obtain additional tail clearance for positioning an airplane in a hangar or storage area, a nose lift dolly may be used to tilt the airplane. The nose lift dolly raises the airplane nose section, causing the airplane to tilt at the main gear.

____________________________________________________________
 1.  General_______
 A.  Lifting the airplane for maintenance is accomplished by using conventional airplane jacks at jack points located on the wing, forward and aft body or at the nose and main landing gear. You can remove and install jack adapters at the wing and body jack points. The nose and main landing gear jack points are integral with the landing gear.

 JACK AIRPLANE - MAINTENANCE PRACTICES
_____________________________________
 1.  General_______
 A.  The airplane has three main jack points and four auxiliary jack points. The main jack points are the wing jack points A and B and aft body jack point C. The four auxiliary jack points contain one stabilizing and three landing gear jack points. The stabilizing jack point is the forward body jack point D. The three landing gear jack points are points F at each main gear axle and point E below the nose gear axle. See Fig. 201 and 202 for the jack point locations, maximum loads on the jack points, and wing and body jack adapters.
 B.  You can lift the airplane on jacks at different gross weights as long as the load on the individual jack points is not more than the maximum permitted. Also, the sum of the individual jack point loads must not be more than the maximum jack weight (Fig. 202). At all weights, the airplane center of gravity must be to the C.G. range of 5 to 31 percent MAC before you lift it on jacks.
 C.  The design of the axle jack points will permit you to change two flat tires on the same landing gear while the airplane is at the maximum taxi weight. The load on an axle jack point must not be more than the maximum permitted.
