A. Label Installation
(1)
Apply a coat of BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-010) to the surface on which you will bond the label.
(2)
Affix the label and apply light pressure to the label for about 30 seconds.
NOTE : When you bond the label on a cylindrical component,
____ temporarily install a tie strap and leave in position until the adhesive compound is fully dry.

A. Cleaning of the Contact Surfaces
(1) Clean the decal contact surface with a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) soaked in CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-003) or CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-016).

B. Preparation of the Bonding Material for the Decal NOTE : Obey the manufacturer's instructions and the safety precautions to

use the bonding material.
(1)
If the paint is new, do the step that follows to prepare the bonding material.
(a) Mix one volume of lukewarm water at a temperature between 30 and 40 deg.C (86 and 104 deg.F) with one volume of SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-029) in a plastic container.
(2)
If the paint is not new, do the steps that follow to prepare the bonding material.
(a)
Apply the fixative C-Special of the SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-029) on the paint of the applicable area.
(b)
Mix two volumes of lukewarm water at a temperature between 30 and 40 deg.C (86 and 104 deg.F) with one volume of the fixative UW of the SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-029) in a plastic container.
