A. Cleaning
(1) Clean and degrease the Plexiglas surface to which the placard is to be affixed, using CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-002) then thoroughly dry out.
NOTE : Any drilling of holes or trimming of the placard required

A. Installation of Labels
(1)
Starting at one end peel off the protective backing paper over 10 mm (0.3937 in.) approx. and fold back.
(2)
Affix the peeled end to the Plexiglas and gradually remove the backing paper while pressing the placard down onto the Plexiglas.

(3) Carefully smooth out the placard working from the center outwards. NOTE : Do not soil the adhesive contact surface of the placard, do

A. Cleaning
(1)
Make sure that the tape is approximately 5 mm (0.1968 in.) longer than the circumference of the metal line.
(2)
Clean the surface on which you will bond the tape, using CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004) or alternatively CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-003) or CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-016), then thoroughly dry out.

A. Installation of Identification Tapes
(1)
Remove the backing paper.
(2)
Affix the tape by evenly unrolling and gradually smoothing out to prevent the formation of air bubbles.
(3)
Overlap the tape ends and smooth out.
(4)
Apply two coats of STRUCTURE PAINTS (Material No. 16-003) to the band, overlapping the edge of the band by 10 mm (0.3937 in.) approx. using a soft hair brush.
(5)
If the paint becomes damaged, apply STRUCTURE PAINTS (Material No. 16-016) to prevent attack of the adhesive by fluid (e.g. against hydraulic fluid) and subsequent separation of the tape.
(6)
If the film of STRUCTURE PAINTS (Material No. 16-003) is excessively damaged, replace the tape and renew the protective finish.
