(CDS3) FM-1 HUB LOW
c. Advisory Function. Advisory messages are (CDS3) FM-1 PT FAIL
displayed in a similar manner as caution messages.
When an advisory condition occurs, a single “bong” (CDS3) FM-2 CT FAIL
may sound in the crew headsets and the advisory FM-2 CUE
message will be displayed in the box at the bottom of
the MFD screen. The one exception, the HDG HLD FM-2 FAIL
advisory, is displayed in the upper left corner of the (CDS3) FM-2 HUB LOW
screen and no bong is heard. Pressing the REC/ACK
switch to the ACK position will delete the message from (CDS3) FM-2 PT FAIL
the screen. When an advisory has been acknowledged, (OH-58D) FUEL CONTROL
it will stay in memory as long as the advisory condition
exists. The total number of active advisories is * (CDS3) GPS DIVERGENT
displayed to the right of the letter A at the bottom of the * GPS FAIL
screen. Advisories are not recorded in C/W HISTORY.

The warning, caution, and advisory system visually and
NAV INVALID audibly advises the crew of specific faults in the
NAV NOT ALIGNED helicopter systems. All warning, caution, and advisory
messages are displayed on both MFDs and warnings
* NAV UPDT REQUIRED and cautions are accompanied by an audio tone that is
* (CDS3) NO AUTO START heard through the crew headsets.
NO CODE a. Warning Function. Warning messages are
* ONE YAW CHAN OFF displayed in a box in the upper right corner of both
MFD screens (fig. 2-25). This box will display only
PITOT HEAT ON when there is an active warning condition. There are
* P(Y) CODE INVALID eight warning messages that can be displayed,
prioritized as follows:
