1. Engine Starting C
Systems
2 0 (O) Both may be inoperative provided:
a) Airstart Ignition system is
operative,
b) Start Valve has not failed in
OPEN position,
c) Start Valve is manually
OPENED and CLOSED for
engine starting,
d) Airstart Ignition, Engine Selector
and Start Switches are switched
to OFF when engine has reached
self-sustaining speed, and
e) Engine start is accomplished in
accordance with AFM Start
Valve Failure Procedure.
None Required. Flight crew will ensure:
a) Start Valve has NOT
failed in open position.
b) Start Valve is manually
OPENED and CLOSED
