LOSS OF MAIN GENERATORS
In flight, in case of total loss of all the main
generators, and before the emergency generator
connection, batteries 1 and 2 supply the AC and DC ESS
buses. This is a transient configuration, during Ram
Air Turbine extension or no emergency generator
available.
When its parameters are correct, the emergency
generator comes on line and supplies the AC and DC ESS
buses.
When the speed is lower than 100 knots, the emergency
generator is deactivated. The batteries supply the
A.C. and D.C. ESS buses. The D.C. battery bus is
recovered.
When the speed drops below 50 knots, the A.C. essential
bus disconnects from the static inverter.

IDG 1/2 PUSHBUTTONS
When the IDG pushbutton is momentarily pressed, the
Integrated Drive Generator is disconnected from its
drive shaft.
It can only be reconnected by maintenance.
GEN 1/2 PUSHBUTTONS
In normal operation:
the generator is energized and the line contactor
closes, when electrical parameters are correct.
When OFF:
the generator is de-energized and the line contactor
opens.
APU GEN PUSHBUTTON
In normal operation:
the APU generator is energized and the line contactor
closes, if electrical parameters are correct and if
the APU generator has priority.
