EMERGENCY GENERATION MANUAL OPERATION IN FLIGHT
If AC BUS 1 and 2 are lost and the Ram Air Turbine
does not extend, FAULT light comes on red on the EMER
ELEC PWR panel.
The Ram Air Turbine must be manually extended to power
the emergency generator. This is done by pressing the
guarded MAN ON pushbutton on the emergency electrical
power panel.

Emergency Generator Test
The emergency generator operational test is carried
out to check the emergency generator parameters and
the corresponding network supply.
For test purposes the blue hydraulic system must be
pressurized thanks to the BLUE PUMP OVRD pushbutton
and the EMER GEN TEST pushbutton must be held pressed
in.
As the Emergency generator is connected, check the
generator parameters on the ECAM display.
