ECC Interfaces
The equipment cooling controllers (ECC) have hard-wire interfaces with each other (cross talk), the related ECSMC and with some of the same components as the ESCMCs. These are the components:
*
Low (air) flow sensor for the main equipment center
*
Low (air) flow sensor for the flight deck.

Component Location
These equipment cooling system components are in the forward equipment center:
*
Supply duct
*
Duct pressure sensor
*
Exhaust (vent) duct.
The sensor attaches to the supply duct, forward and to the right of the access door cutout.

A/C -EQUIPMENT COOLING -MAIN EQUIPMENT CENTER COMPONENT LOCATIONS
Component Locations
These equipment cooling components are in the main equipment center (MEC):
*
Equipment cooling controller (ECC)(2)
*
Converter supplemental cooling check valve
*
Flight deck low flow sensor
*
VSCF duct pressure sensor
*
E4 rack duct pressure sensor
*
Supply ducts
*
Exhaust (vent) ducts.
The left controller is below the P310 standby power management panel on the left side of the MEC. The right controller is below the P300 auxiliary power panel, near the flight deck low flow sensor.
The converter supplemental cooling check valve is behind the lower end of the P210 right power management panel.
The low flow sensor is below and at the forward corner of the P300 auxiliary power panel.
The duct pressure sensor for the backup generator converter is to the right side and below the E4 rack. The duct pressure sensor for the E4 rack is immediately forward of the MEC access door, below the main battery.
The supply ducts are under the floor panels and in the right side-wall area of the MEC. The exhaust duct is in the right side-wall area and in the ceiling area of the MEC.

A/C -EQUIPMENT COOLING -FORWARD CARGO COMPARTMENT COMPONENT LOCATIONS -1
Component Locations
Equipment cooling components are in three places in the forward cargo compartment: left sidewall area, under the floor, and right sidewall area (not shown).
These are the components in the left sidewall area, outboard of the cargo handling ball panels:
*
Air filter
*
Supply ducts
*
Smoke clearance duct
*
Supply fan (2)
*
Override valve.
Remove the sidewall lining to get access to the air filter, supply ducts, supply fans, and override valve.
These are the components in the area below the compartment floor, forward of the cargo handling ball panels:
*
Vent valve
*
MEC low flow sensor
*
Forward cargo heat valve
*
Exhaust duct
*
Supply ducts.
*
Forward cargo heat valve
*
Exhaust duct.
