(a) Put the dorsal fin in its position on the airplane.

(b) Install the attach bolts on the fin.
(2) S 394-009-B00Do this task to apply sealant to the attach bolts: Application" (Ref 51-31-00/201). "Fillet Seal
(3) S 224-010-B00Make sure the clearances are in the tolerance shown in Fig. 401.
(4) S 414-011-B00Close the front spar access doors 9503 and 9504.
(5) S 414-012-B00Do this task to install the insulation blankets: Insulation" (AMM 25-21-39/401). "Install Sidewall
(6) S 414-013-B00Do this task: "Install Overhead Distribution Duct" (Ref 21-23-25/401).
(7) S 414-014-B00Install the entry light fixture.
(8) S 414-015-B00Close the forward access door in the aft lowered ceiling panel.

1. General_______
A. There are two tasks in this procedure. There is one task for the removal and one task for the installation of the vertical stabilizer (fin) leading edge.
B. The lower part of the leading edge is the HF antenna.

Remove the leading edge access doors 9572 and 9573.

(4) Remove the bolts of the fin leading edge.
CAUTION: WHEN REMOVING PANEL FASTENERS, MAKE SURE THAT THE DRIVER
_______ BIT IS IN LINE WITH A FASTENER. THIS WILL PREVENT DRIVER BIT WOBBLE WHICH CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE FASTENER RECESSES AND THREADS.
