 If the EGT does not increase, the warning is confirmed:
MAN START (IF MANUAL START PERFORMED)............................................OFF
ENG MASTER (AFFECTED)..............................................................................OFF
 Associated engine above idle:
 Failure of fuel valve position feedback:
FUEL SWITCH FAULT.
 Failure of fuel valve in open position:
FUEL VALVE NOT CLOSED.
L2 Due to the fuel quantity between the LP valve and nozzles, the engine shuts down after
approximately 2 min and 30 s.
ENG 1(2) SYSTEM FAULT
Applicable to:
L2 Failure of internal engine bleed or failure of engine probe heat resulting in EGT increase.
L1 On ground:
ENG MASTER (AFFECTED)..................................................................................................OFF
 In flight:
RISK OF HI EGT.
L2Continue normal operation.

L2 There is discrepancy between the value displayed on the ECAM and the real value. The upper
ECAM upper displays a CHECK message below the affected indication.
Normal indication may be recovered by switching from DMC 1 to DMC 3.
If unsuccessful, and if both thrust levers are at the same position, crosscheck with the opposite
parameter.

L2 Loss of electrical auto supply of FADEC.
L1Crew awareness.
ENG 1(2) EPR MODE FAULT
Applicable to:
L2 EEC has reverted to the N1 MODE. Autothrust control is lost.
L1 If unrated N1 MODE is active:
L2 Loss of these upper ECAM indications: Max N1, N1 thrust lever, N1 mode, N1 rating limit.
L1N1 DEGRADED MODE.
ENG 1 N1 MODE ....................................................................................................................ON
ENG 2 N1 MODE ....................................................................................................................ON
L2N1 mode is confirmed on the affected engine.
The other engine must be reverted to the rated N1 mode to ease thrust setting.
L1NOT EXCEED N1 LIMIT.
L2 As there is no N1 limit, an overboost can occur at full forward thrust lever position.
L1MAN THR.........................................................................................................................ADJUST
L2 Align the N1 of the affected engine on the N1 of the other engine. Refer to PER-THR-N1 N1
MODE THRUST CONTROL, for power management tables.
L1 If rated N1 MODE is active:
ENG 1 N1 MODE.....................................................................................................................ON
ENG 2 N1 MODE.....................................................................................................................ON
MAN THR.........................................................................................................................ADJUST
L2 Refer to PER-THR-N1 N1 MODE THRUST CONTROL, for power management tables.
Note: Recovery of EPR MODE on both engines may be attempted by switching off both ENG
N1 MODE pb-sw.
