Prerequisites
Valid CPL(A) or ATPL(A) with a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate

Description
The aim of the Type Rating Course of the B737 is to train aeroplane licence holders to the
level of proficiency necessary for the issue of the B737 Type Rating.
The B737 Type Rating Course fulfils the requirements of B737 of JAR-FCL 1.240 & 1.261.
Ground Training (Aircraft systems and procedures) 146 hrs (19 days)
Computer Based Training-selfstudy 74 hrs
Classroom Training 50 hrs
Selfstudy 11 hrs

Simulator Training
Fix Base Simulator - 5 sessions, 4hrs each 20 hrs (5 days)
10 hrs right seat, 10 hrs left seat

Prerequisites
Valid B737 Type Rating as a pilot-in-command
To have completed at least 1500 flight time hours as a pilot of multi-pilot aeroplanes
To have completed, within the 12 months preceding the application, at least 30 route
sectors, to include take-offs and landings as a pilot-in-command or co-pilot on the
B737, of which not more than 15 sectors may be completed on a flight simulator
