The aim of the ATR 42/72 Type Rating Course is to train aeroplane licence holders to the
level of proficiency necessary for the issue of the ATR 42-500 & ATR 72-202 Type Rating.
The ATR 42/72 Type Rating Course fulfils the requirements of JAR-FCL 1.240 & 1.261.
Ground Training ( Aircraft systems and Procedures) 141 hrs (21 days )
CBT, Self-study 49 hrs
Cockpit Procedure Trainer 16 hrs
Aircraft familiarisation on the ground 5 hrs
