F 310TRZFT A310 Type Rating Course ZFT
Prerequisites
Class 1Medical Certificate; or a valid ATPL(A)
To have fulfilled the requirements for the issue of an ATPL(A), min 1500 flight hours;
To hold a CPL(A) issued or rendered valid under JAR-FCL 1; and
To have a valid Multi-engine Instrument Rating; and have received instruction
in Multi-crew Co-operation (MCC).
For ZERO FLIGHT TIME TRAINING the applicant shall have : not less than 1500 flight
hours or 250 route sectors as a pilot on a relevant aeroplane type*, when FFS of the CG or
C level is used for training If FFS Level DG or D is used for training not less than 500 flight
hours or 100 route sectors as a pilot on a relevant aeroplane type* is required. Appendix 1 to
JAR-FCL 1.261(c)(2) to be met 2 + 2 hr FFS
*NOTE: A relevant type of aeroplane is a turbo-jet transport category aeroplane with
MTOM of not less than 10 tons or an approved passengers seating configuration for
not less than 20 passengers.

Simulator Training
Fix Base Simulator - 5 sessions 4 hrs each 20 hrs (5 days)
10 hrs right seat, 10 hrs left seat
2 hrs briefing and 1 hr debriefing for session
Full Flight Simulator - 7 sessions 4 hrs each 28 hrs (7 days)
14 hrs right seat, 14 hrs left seat
2 hrs briefing and 1 hr debriefing for session
Full Flight Simulator - Skill Test - 1session 4 hrs (1day)
2 hrs briefing and 1 hr debriefing
2 hrs as non flying pilot, 2 hrs as flying pilot
Full Flight Simulator - Zero Flight Time Training -1session 4 hrs (1day)
At least 6 take-offs and landings with different T/O and LDG weights.
Documentation - A310 documentation may be lent to all participants at the beginning of the
training
