PFD INDICATIONS
In case of RA detection, the PFD presents vertical orders on the vertical speed scale. The
vertical speed scale background is normally grey, but may be partially replaced by green
and/or red areas.
(~ Red area
ndicates the vertical speed range, where the risk of conflict is high
(~ Green area
ndicates the recommended vertical speed range
Note
The aircraft can also fly in the grey vertical speed range without the risk of
conflict (preventive RA).
The color of the vertical speed needle and the digits corresponds to the
appropriate area
(~ TCAS message
Appears in red when TCAS cannot deliver RA data, or in case of TCAS internal failure

green area on PFD.
