A. This procedure contains 2 tasks. The first task contains the data that is necessary to remove the captain's (or first officer's) rudder jackshaft and forward quadrant. The second task contains the data that is necesary to install it.

Supply electrical power (Ref 24-22-00).

Move the FLT CONTROL SHUTOFF switches L, C, and R on the right side panel, P61, to OFF. Attach DO-NOT-OPERATE tags and make sure that the amber switch-position legend lights come ON.

Open these circuit breakers on the overhead panel, P11, and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
