Operate the rudder pedals through their full travel range and do the checks that follow:
(a)
Make sure that the rudder operates smoothly and correctly when the pedals are moved.
(b)
Make sure the rudder position indicator operates correctly and shows full rudder travel in each direction.
(c)
Release the rudder pedals. Make sure the rudder goes back to its neutral position.
