F.  When the controller is functioning in STDBY and the FLT-GRD switch is placed in the FLT position, the controller will try to maintain the cabin pressure at the cabin altitude control setting. When the FLT-GRD switch is placed in the GRD position and the controller is in the ground mode of operation while functioning in either AUTO or STDBY, the controller output signal will open the outflow valve at the rate required to depressurize the airplane at rate limit.

G. The operational modes are as follows:
MODE SELECTOR POSITION  FLT-GRD SW POSITION  RESULTS 
AC MAN  GRD or FLT  AC actuator drives outflow valve. Valve movement will be continuous as long as toggle is applied. 
DC MAN  GRD or FLT  DC actuator drives valve. Valve movement will be continuous as long as toggle is applied. 
STBY  GRD (Airplane on ground) FLT  DC actuator drives valve. Pressure controller signals actuator to drive valve full open. DC actuator drives valve. Pressure controller signals actuator to maintain selected cabin pressure. Cabin pressure changes at selected rate. 
AUTO  GRD (Airplane on ground)  FLT (Airplane on ground)  FLT (Airplane airborne)  AC actuator drives valve. Pressure controller signals ac actuator to drive valve full open. AC actuator drives valve. Pressure controller signals ac actuator to modulate valve for 0.1-psi pressurization. AC actuator drives valve. Pressure controller signals ac actuator to modulate valve to achieve cabin pressure computed and scheduled by the pressure controller.

H. The characteristics of the pressurization control system in the event of a power loss and restoration are as follows:
