PASSENGER CABIN TEMPERATURE BULB - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. General
A. The same passenger cabin temperature bulb is used on all airplanes. Except for method of access the installations are similar. The following procedure is for all airplanes with any difference noted in the applicable step.
2. Prepare for Removal of Passenger Cabin Temperature Bulb (Fig. 401)
A. Open TEMP IND circuit breaker on load control center circuit breaker panel P6-4.
B. On passenger/cargo convertible airplanes, remove stowage compartment (Ref Chapter 25, Equipment and Furnishings).
C. For airplanes with carryall stowage compartment type interior, pull bullnose cover inboard edge free from attach bulb then pull cover inboard.
D. For airplanes with advanced technology interior, lower PSU assembly and gain access to (5) screws fastening bullnose to PSU beam; remove screws and bullnose.
3. Remove Passenger Cabin Temperature Bulb
A. Disconnect electrical connector from temperature bulb.
B. Remove lockwire, unscrew temperature bulb from sensor duct and remove temperature bulb.
4. Install Passenger Cabin Temperature Bulb
A. Screw temperature bulb into sensor duct and lockwire.
B. Connect electrical connector to temperature bulb.
C. Check passenger cabin temperature bulb operation.

Connect external power and energize load control center circuit breaker panel, P6-4.

Close TEMP IND circuit breaker on load control center circuit breaker panel, P6-4.

Position AIR TEMP selector switch to PASS CABIN and check that temperature indicator reads approximately the same as ambient.
D. On passenger/cargo convertible airplanes, install stowage compartment.
E. On airplanes with carryall stowage compartment type interior, align slot of outboard edge of bullnose cover with support beam flange. Push outboard until fully engaged then push inboard edge of cover over attach bulb.
F. On airplanes with advanced technology interior, install bullnose, raise and secure PSU assembly.
G. Remove electrical power is no longer required.
