Pressure Correction BAROMETRIC PRESSURE (IN. HG.)
1.
Obtain local ambient barometric pressure (Pbar).
2.
Measure E/E bay air temperature (Tbay).
3.
Locate E/E bay temperature on left axis of table and follow row to the column corresponding to the Barometric pressure. Read the correction factor (Cf).
4.
Calculate the corrected pressure (Pcor) as follows:
E/EPcor = P X Cf (Where: P is measured BAY pressure) TEMP (°F) Example
P = 2.6 IN. H20
Pbar = 30.1 IN. HG.
Tbay = 46°F
From table: (45°F/30.2 IN. HG.) Cf = 0.95
Pcor = 2.6 IN. H20 X 0.95 = 2.47 IN. H20

Check shelf to plenum opening and if obstructed remove obstruction.
NOTE: To check for obstruction remove shelf to plenum fasteners and pull apart only enough to observe opening. Obstruction here may or may not affect plenum pressure depending on the obstruction magnitude.
(c)
Check for excessive leakage where shelf mates to plenum. Repair if necessary.
(5)
High plenum pressure (test ports 1, 5 or 8).
(a)
Check for obstruction in shelf to plenum opening (Ref (4)(b) NOTE).
(b)
Check that orifice in plenum outlet duct is not missing, if missing install proper orifice. If not missing check for proper size and replace if necessary.
(6)
Low plenum pressure (test ports 1, 5 or 8, but not all).
(a)
Check for obstruction to plenum outlet duct and remove if found. Check also that correct orifice is installed and replace if wrong size.
