(1) Do the third part of the operational test of the ATSU (Ref. AMM TASK 46-21-00-710-001).
4. Fault Isolation

A. If the VHF3 cannot operate in DATA mode during the operational test of the ATSU:
- replace the ATSU (1TX1) (Ref. AMM TASK 46-21-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 46-21-34-400-001).
(1) If the fault continues:
- replace the XCVR-VHF, 3 (1RC3) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-12-33-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-12-33-400-001).
(a) If the fault continues:
- do a check and repair the wiring of the VOICE/DATA SELECT discrete from the ATSU (1TX1) pin AA/12A to the VDR3 (1RC3) pin AB/7C (Ref. ASM 46-21/04).

A. Test
(1) Do the operational test of the ATSU (Ref. AMM TASK 46-21-00-710-001) from the step 35. Do it again for each RMP.
4. Fault Isolation

A. If you cannot select the Data mode from one RMP, do the fault isolation procedure that follows:
(1) If you can correctly set the DATA mode on the two other RMPs
(a) Replace the RMP-COM/NAV FREQ SEL, 1 (1RG1), RMP-COM/NAV FREQ SEL, 2 (1RG2) or RMP-COM FREQ SEL, 3 (1RG3) on which it was not possible to set the DATA mode (Ref. AMM TASK 23-13-13-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-13-13-400-001).
