A. Test
(1) Do the BITE test of the ATIMS (Ref. AMM TASK 46-21-00-740-001).
4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If the test gives the maintenance message DATA LOADER(1TD)/ATSU1(1TX1):
- replace the MDDU (1TD) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-38-22-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 31-38-22-400-001).
(1) If the fault continues:
- replace the ATSU (1TX1) (Ref. AMM TASK 46-21-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 46-21-34-400-001).
(a) If the fault continues:
- remove the MDDU and the ATSU
- do a check and repair the wiring of the DATA LOADER INPUT BUS : between pins A/24,25 of the MDDU and pins AA/8J,8K of the ATSU (Ref. ASM 46-21/05)
- install the MDDU and the ATSU.
B. Do the test given in Para. 3.

(1) Do the fifth part of the operational test of the ATSU (Ref. AMM TASK 46-21-00-710-001).
4. Fault Isolation

A. If, during the operational test, the ATSU cannot control the VHF3
frequency through the RMP3 only:
- replace the RMP-COM FREQ SEL, 3 (1RG3) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-13-13-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-13-13-400-001).
(1) If the fault continues:
- repair the wiring of the DFS PORT SELECT DISCRETE from the RMP3 (1RG3) pin A/F to the first terminal block (Ref. ASM 46-21/04).
B. Do the test given in Para. 3.
