(1) Do a check of the ATSU software configuration:
- Make sure that the reference of the ATSU A/C Interface software loaded in the ATSU is the same as the reference read on the disk (Ref. AMM TASK 46-21-00-610-001).
(a) If they are different, do the related uploading procedure.
(b) If the two references are the same:
- do the initialization procedure of the ATSU (Ref. AMM TASK 46-21-00-860-001).
1 If the fault continues:

- replace the ATSU (1TX1) (Ref. AMM TASK 46-21-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 46-21-34-400-001).

A. If the test gives the maintenance message INVALID ATSU
CONFIG/ATSU1(1TX1):
(1) Do a check of the ATSU software configuration:
- Make sure that the references of the ATSU A/C Interface, the ATSU CONFIGURATION and the ATSU ROUTER PARAMETERS software loaded in the ATSU are respectively the same as the references read on the disks (Ref. AMM TASK 46-21-00-610-001).
(a) If they are different, do the related uploading procedure.
(b) If the two references are the same:
- do the initialization procedure of the ATSU (Ref. AMM TASK 46-21-00-860-001).

A. Test
(1) Do the BITE test of the ATIMS (Ref. AMM TASK 46-21-00-740-001).
4. Fault Isolation

A. If the test gives the maintenance message MCDU1(3CA1)/ATSU1(1TX1):
- replace the MCDU-1 (3CA1) (Ref. AMM TASK 22-82-12-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 22-82-12-400-002).
(1) If the fault continues:
- replace the ATSU (1TX1) (Ref. AMM TASK 46-21-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 46-21-34-400-001).
(a) If the fault continues:
- remove the MCDU 1 and the ATSU
- do a check and repair the wiring of the MCDU TRANSMITTER BUS : between pins A/27,28 of the MCDU 1 and pins AA/7E,7F of the ATSU (Ref. ASM 46-21/05)
- install the MCDU 1 and the ATSU.
B. Do the test given in Para. 3.
