and Enroute Area Navigation (RNAV) Operations for RNAV-1 and RNAV-2 routes, provided
that:
1) None of the following messages are displayed:
• FMS DR (PFD, MFD or CDU)
• IRS ONLY (PFD, MFD or CDU)
• VOR/DME ONLY (CDU) or V/D ONLY (PFD)
• VOR/DME DIST > 40.0 NM (CDU)
• CHK POS (PFD or CDU)
and,
2) For procedures that specifically require GPS, or when GPS is the only available
sensor, none of the following messages are posted on the CDU:
• NO GPS RAIM
• GPS NOT AVAILABLE
• GPS-FMS DISAGREE
and,
3) The crew has entered NOTAMed navaids on the CDU VOR/DME CONTROL page.
NOTE
1. Pre-flight GPS (GNSS) predictive RAIM checks are not required
unless the procedure specifically requires GPS (GNSS), or when
GPS is planned to be the only available FMS position sensor.
2. If pre-flight planning requires the pilot to confirm availability of
RAIM along the intended flight (route and time), this confirmation
should be accomplished using an appropriate RAIM availability
prediction program. Refer to NOTAM GEN−05005 Operation on
U.S. Aera Navigation Routes, Standard Terminals Arrivals, &
Departure Procedures.
3. Compliance with the standards noted above does not constitute an
operational approval.

2. NAVIGATION OPERATIONAL APPROVALS (CONT'D)
On airplanes NOT incorporating Service Bulletin 604–34–050:
Compliance with AC 90−100A, US Terminal and Enroute Area Navigation (RNAV) Operations
• The aircraft meets the functional and operational requirements of AC 90−100A, US Terminal
and Enroute Area Navigation (RNAV) Operations, provided that:
• The following minimum navigation equipment is operational:
• One FMC (1) and one FMS CDU (1)
• One GPS (1) (on airplanes 5610 and subsequent and airplanes incorporating
Service Bulletin 604–34–007 or 604–34–018)
• None of the following messages are displayed:
NO GPS RAIM GPS NOT AVAILABLE GPS DISABLED
GPS−FMS DISAGREE FMS−FMS DISAGREE
• The GPS availability and integrity (RAIM) is confirmed for the intended flight (route and
time), using an appropriate RAIM availability prediction program.
• The FMS does not support operations as per AC 90−100A, US Terminal and Enroute Area
Navigation (RNAV) Operations, using DME/DME.
• The FMS does not support operations as per AC 90−100A, US Terminal and Enroute Area
Navigation (RNAV) Operations, using DME/DME/IRU.
NOTE
Compliance with the standards noted above does not constitute an
operational approval.
3. ENHANCED GROUND PROXIMITY WARNING SYSTEM (GPWS)
Navigation must not be predicated upon the use of the terrain awareness display.
Terrain inhibit should be selected when using QFE operations and GPS is not available.
4. AIRBORNE FLIGHT INFORMATION SYSTEM (AFIS)
AFIS must not be used for flight planning.

5. MODE S SURVEILLANCE
On airplanes 5568 and subsequent and airplanes incorporating Service Bulletin
604–34–037 or 604–34–038:
The Mode S transponder has been certified to meet the requirements of Elementary Mode S
Surveillance as defined by JAA TGL 13.
On airplanes 5631 and subsequent incorporating Service Bulletin 604–34–054, and
airplanes incorporating Service Bulletin 604–34–040 and 604–34–054 or
airplanes incorporating Service Bulletin 604–34–041 and 604–34–054:
The installed Mode S system satisfies the data requirements of ICAO Doc 7030/4, Regional
Supplementary Procedures for SSR Mode S Enhanced Surveillance in designated airspace.
The capability to transmit data parameters is shown in the following table:
