_ Wipe Bellmouth and Cowl flowpaths using clean shop towels.
_ Hook up Hoke panels and A/B reference boxes.
_ Vortex destroyer installed beneath bellmouth (if Required).
_ All wall-mounted equipment such as service lights, control boxes, and cables properly secured.
_ All work platforms and ladders removed from cell.
_ Mount/cowl/engine properly secured to thrust frame, visual inspection of pins.

_ CO2 activated, indicating lights on, (and CO2 tank quantity above 70% (if required))
_ Vacuum pump for screen thermocouples turned on.
_ Nitrogen supply turned on, and regulated.
_ Fuel system set up and turned on.
_ Check fuel level of fuel accumulator.
_ Record reading from fuel totalizer
_ Cell exhausters turned on.
_ Cell electrical power supplies turned on.
_ Boot up control room computers with CFM56-7B program.
_ Ping vibes by tapping on vibe brackets with a nylon bar or nylon mallet. (Do not hit pickups directly.)
_ Ping check #1 & #2 ignition systems.
_ Cell inlet doors fully open.
_ Cell reset switch (fuel valve open).
_ Control power reset switch on.
_ Power management switch - ON
_ Starter On/Off switch - OFF.
_ Pertinent data entered into data control system.
_ Starter air pressure pre-set to prescribed value.
_ Fuel inlet pressure pre-set to prescribed value.
_ Augmentor door open.
_ From this point, through the completion of Slush Run, any employee entering the test cell will notify the test cell crew or Test Supervision before entering, and after leaving, the cell.
_ Test cell crew will ensure that FOD prevention procedures are observed, and will perform FOD inspection before resuming test

Engine Starting Limits
A. Starter limits:
Start attempts - Multiple attempts are permitted, 2 minutes each, maximum
- 10 seconds of no operation between attempts to permit the starter rotor to be lubricated again.
Extended motoring - 2 consecutive extended motorings, 15 minutes each, maximum
- 2 minutes of no operation between the first two extended motorings.
- After 2 extended motorings, the starter is limited to 5 minutes of operation with 10 minutes of no operation before a new motoring.
- Do not engage the starter when the core speed is more than 55 percent
