G. T12 sensor that is supplied with engine to bellmouth pad at 2:30. Secure with bolts supplied with sensor, and torque to 30-35 in. lbs.
H. Make sure the starter is primed with oil. If required, service starter.
I. Fill Oil Tank.
J. Connect the leads from the test cell to the oil quantity indicator connector.
K. Remove the cap on the oil supply line (to FWD sump), just above the oil tank. Install the oil pressure probe to the oil supply line.
L. Wipe Bellmouth and Cowl flowpaths using clean shop towels.
M. Perform a final inspection of preparation efforts and complete necessary process paperwork and sign-offs.
N. Inspect engine inlet and exhaust areas for presence of foreign objects/materials and damage, Cowling, Bellmouth and Exhaust elements for security, and engine to adapters service connections for security and safety wire.

CFM56-7B Engine Testing
Pre-Test Inspection
Make an inspection of the test facility and engine before each test. Make sure all operations necessary are complete before test starts.
A. Read the engine log or cards. Make sure all necessary inspections have been made on work that is complete. Make sure the engine has been released for test.
B. Make sure the engine lubrication system is correctly serviced and that the starter is primed with oil.
C. Make sure the fuel supply is the correct type, and there is an adequate quantity for the test.
D. Make a check of the basic engine piping as follows:
1. Make sure the piping is correctly installed.
2. Set the fuel boost pumps to ON.
3. Examine the fuel piping connections for leaks.
4. Set the fuel boost pumps to OFF.
F. Make sure the basic engine rigging is correct.
G. Make a visual inspection of VSV linkages for correct installation and serviceable condition.
H. Make sure the VBV doors and flexshafts are serviceable.
I. When you operate engines without accessories on the customer pads, make sure the plugs are installed on the gear shafts.
K. Make sure the drain hoses are correctly installed, the starter air pipes and leads are correctly installed, and all the electrical connections are tight.
O. Make sure the throttle operates correctly.
P. Make sure the shut-off solenoid valve on the HMU is OFF.
Q. Set the ignition switch to OFF (AUTO Mode position).
R. Examine the fan and core inlets and exhaust for unwanted materials.
S. Make sure the test cell floor is clean.
T. Start the electrical power supply for the engine, test cell, and panel.
