Test Materials
Fuel:
Jet A is the primary fuel. The engine will operate satisfactorily with a fuel (or mixture of fuels) that agree with one of these specifications:
• ASTM D1655
• Jet A, Jet A1, Jet B
• MIL-T-5624, grades JP4, JP5
• French Specifications AIR 3405C, 3404C, 3407B
• United Kingdom Specification DERD 2454/2486, DERD 2498
Oil:
CFMI recommends the engine oils specified in MIL-L-23699 (Type 2). You can also use any engine oil specified in MIL-L-7808 (Type 1). Do not mix different types or brands of oil. Refer to SB 79-001.
