You must do these steps to remove the floor panel:

Remove the equipment
-
Remove the carpet (for the upper deck only)
-Break the water seals (if it is necessary)
-Remove the fasteners.

The installation of the main and the upper deck floor panels.
(4)
You must do these steps to install the floor panel:
-Clean the structure
-Examine the condition of the cork tape
-Install the panel
-Seal the panels (where it is necessary)
-
Install the carpet (for the upper deck only)
-
Install the equipment which you removed.
B. The entire main cargo deck of the freighter is considered a wet area.
This includes the floor panels over the E/E main equipment center.
C. You must seal the new floor panels exactly like the old ones were sealed.

Remove the equipment when it is necessary.

For freighter airplanes, break the floor panel seals on the main cargo deck and upper deck.
CAUTION:_______USE HARDWOOD OR PLASTIC CUTTING TOOLS. DO NOT USE METAL CUTTING TOOLS. METAL CUTTING TOOLS CAN DAMAGE THE STRUCTURAL SURFACE.
(a)
For freighter airplanes, break the BMS5-142 sealant between the floor panels with a sealant removal tool.
(b)
For freighter airplanes, remove the fasteners from the floor panels.
CAUTION:_______BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU REMOVE THE FLOOR PANEL. DAMAGE CAN OCCUR TO THE FLOOR PANELS IF YOU APPLY TOO MUCH FORCE. IT COULD BE NECESSARY TO USE A NEW PANEL IF THE PANEL IS DAMAGED.
(c)
For freighter airplanes, remove the floor panels.
CAUTION:_______BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU CUT THE VINYL TAPE. MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT CUT TOO DEEP. DAMAGE CAN OCCUR TO THE STRUCTURAL SURFACE IF YOU CUT TOO DEEP.
(d)
If sealant has been injected between the panels, look for a nylon cord which extends from the joint. 1) If a nylon cord is found, pull the nylon cord in a
direction that is parallel and near to the floor to break the seal.
CAUTION:_______USE HARDWOOD OR PLASTIC CUTTING TOOLS. DO NOT USE METAL CUTTING TOOLS. METAL CUTTING TOOLS CAN DAMAGE THE STRUCTURAL SURFACE.
2) If the nylon cord is not found, cut the sealant with a knife.
NOTE: Use care and caution when cutting and removing the
____ sealant so you do not damage the panel.
3) Remove the fasteners that attach the panel.
