Set GEN 2 switch to OFF. Check that No. 1 TRANSFER BUS OFF, No. 2 TRANSFER BUS OFF, No. 2 BUS OFF, and No. 2 GEN OFF BUS lights illuminate.
(4)
Set GEN 1 switch to ON. Check that AC voltmeter reads 115 +5 volts AC when meter selector switch is set to GEN 1. Check that No. 1 TRANSFER BUS OFF, No. 1 BUS OFF, No. 1 GEN OFF BUS, and No. 2 TRANSFER BUS OFF lights extinguish.

Set GEN 1 switch to OFF. Check that NO. 1 TRANSFER BUS OFF, No. 1 BUS OFF, NO. 1 GEN OFF BUS, and NO. 2 TRANSFER BUS OFF lights illuminate.
(6)
Set left-hand APU GEN switch to ON. Check that APU GEN OFF BUS, No. 1 TRANSFER BUS OFF, No. 2 TRANSFER BUS OFF, and No. 1 BUS OFF lights extinguish.
(7)
Set left-hand APU switch to OFF. Check that APU GEN OFF BUS, No. 1 TRANSFER BUS OFF, No. 2 TRANSFER BUS OFF, and No. 1 BUS OFF lights illuminate.
(8)
Set right-hand APU GEN switch to ON. Check that APU GEN OFF BUS, No. 1 TRANSFER BUS OFF, and No. 2 TRANSFER BUS OFF, and No. 2 BUS OFF lights extinguish.
(9)
Set left-hand APU GEN switch to ON. Check that No. 1 BUS OFF light extinguishes.
(10)
If electrical power is no longer required, restore airplane to normal (par. 6).
4. Galley Service Power Load Shedding Test
A. General
(1) Two procedures are provided for testing galley service power load shedding; one for use when both engines are operating, and one for use when only the APU is operating.
B. Test Galley Service Power Load Shedding with both Engines Operating.
(1)
Operate engines (Ref. 71-09-100 Operating Procedure).
(2)
Set No. 1 GEN and No. 2 GEN switches to ON. Check that No. 1 BUS OFF and No. 2 BUS OFF lights extinguish.
(3)
Place GALLEY power switch to ON. Check for power at galley(s).
(4)
Set No. 1 GEN switch to OFF. Check for loss of power at galley(s).
(5)
Set No. 1 GEN switch to ON. Check for power at galley(s).
(6)
Set No. 2 GEN switch to OFF. Check for loss of power at galley(s).
(7)
Set No. 2 GEN switch to ON. Check for power at galley(s).
(8)
Place GALLEY power switch to OFF.
(9)
If electrical power is no longer required restore airplane to normal (par. 6).

C. Test Galley Service Power Load Shedding With APU Operating.

Operate APU (Ref 49-11-0 MP)
(2)
Connect APU to tie bus.
(a)
Set left and right APU GEN control switches to ON.
(3)
Place GALLEY power switch to ON. Check for power at galley(s).
(4)
Set left APU GEN control switch to OFF. Check for loss of power at galley(s).
(5)
Set left APU GEN control switch to ON, check for power at galley(s).
(6)
Set right APU GEN control switch to OFF. Check for loss of power at galley(s).
(7)
Set right APU GEN control switch to ON, check for power at galley(s).
(8)
Place GALLEY power switch to OFF.
(9)
If electrical power is no longer required, restore airplane to normal (par. 6).
5. "B" Hydraulic System Power Source Transfer Test
A. General
(1) Two procedures are provided for testing "B" hydraulic system power source transfer; one for use when both engines are operating and one for use when only the APU is operating.
B. Test "B" Hydraulic System Power Source Transfer With both Engines Operating

Operate engines (Ref. 71-09-100 Operating Procedure)
(2)
Set No. 1 GEN and No. 2 GEN switches to ON. Check that No. 1 BUS OFF and No. 2 BUS OFF lights extinguish.
(3)
Place No. 1 "B" hydraulic system pump switch to ON, and check that No. 1 hydraulic pump operates.
(4)
Place No. 2 "B" hydraulic system pump switch to ON, and check that No. 2 hydraulic pump operates.
(5)
Set No. 1 GEN switch to OFF. Check that No. 1 hydraulic pump stops operating.
(6)
Set No. 2 "B" hydraulic pump switch to OFF. Check that No. 2 hydraulic pump stops operating, and that No. 1 hydraulic pump starts operating.
(7)
Set No. 2 "B" hydraulic system pump switch to ON. Check that No. 1 hydraulic stops operating, and that No. 2 hydraulic pump starts operating.
(8)
Set No. 1 GEN to ON and check for No. 1 hydraulic pump operation.
(9)
Set No. 2 GEN switch to OFF & check that No. 2 hydraulic pump stops operating.
