Horizon Line All Indicates the horizon relative to the airplane reference symbol. Position based on current airplane pitch and roll attitude.
55 -5 -5 Pitch Scale All Displays airplane pitch. Negative pitch scales have dashed lines. Pitch scales are blanked on the ground.

Bank Scale and Pointer All Displays the corresponding roll attitude in ten degree increments between 0 ° and +/-30 °. Tic marks to +/-60 ° are added in 15 ° increments as the bank angle is increased.
28 30 32 Horizon heading scale All Magnetic heading is displayed in ten degree increments on the horizon line. A downward pointing triangle indicates current airplane magnetic heading.
06 1233 N03 3015 E HSI heading scale NP, AI, AII, AIII Displays airplane magnetic heading in a 230 ° compass rose format. HSI is displayed until the localizer is captured.
06N03 E Heading pointer NP, AI, AII, AIII Indicates current heading.
0603 03 050402 Selected heading bug All Displays selected heading on the horizon line and on the HSI (when in view). Not displayed if the selected heading is outside of the currently displayed heading scale.
HDG 20 Digital selected heading All Displayed for three seconds after a new heading is selected.

SYMBOL NAME MODE REMARKS
Ground path vector NP (ground only) Provides a reference for ground roll guidance during low visibility takeoff operations. Displayed when groundspeed is greater than approximately 20 knots.
Flight path vector All Displays the actual flight path vector of the airplane.
Flight path vector (non-conformal display) Symbol becomes non-conformal when limited by other symbols or the limits of the display.
Flight path acceleration All Positioned left of the flight path vector; indicates airplane acceleration. When above flight path vector, airplane is accelerating. When below flight path vector; airplane is decelerating. Flight path acceleration compensates for windshear, which could cause incorrect throttle and/or thrust adjustments.
Pitch limit indication All Displayed whenever the airplane’s angle of attack approaches stick shaker.
4.4 Angle of attack (AOA) indications All Displays alpha vane angle of attack.
Stick shaker indicator (on AOA) All Indicates stick shaker angle of attack.

4 Approach reference band (on AOA) All Indicates approach angle of attack range. Displayed when flaps are 15 degrees or greater.
Slip/skid indicator All The symbol moves laterally with respect to the top portion of the flight path vector.
Speed error tape All Displays the difference between indicated airspeed and the reference speed selected on the mode control panel.
Flight director guidance cue All Functions similar to the flight director, but is designed for control of flight path. Functions the same as the CDS flight director in NP and AI modes. Driven by the HUD computer in AII and AIII modes. The objective is to capture the guidance cue inside the flight path vector circle. Removed when the captain’s flight director is off on the MCP.
TO/GA pitch target line NP Displayed at 60 knots during takeoff. Initially set at 10° to help prevent over rotation and tailstrike. The gap in the middle of the line is set to the MCP heading.

Flare alert cue All The symbol flashes and rises toward the guidance cue at a rate proportional to the expected flare pitch rate. Flare is initiated when the flare alert cue and flight director guidance cue meet. The cues continue rising to command the flare maneuver until touchdown. 中国航空网 www.aero.cn 航空翻译 www.aviation.cn 本文链接地址:737NG机组操作手册Flight Crew Operations Manual FCOM 3(49)
