If ACARS is installed, the display shows :
‐ “ACARS CALL” pulsing in green, if ACARS has received a message from the ground requesting
a voice communication.
‐ “VHF 3 : VOICE” in green, if VHF3 is operating in voice mode and ACARS communication is
interrupted.
‐ “ACARS MSG ” pulsing in green, if ACARS has received a message from the ground.
‐ “ACARS STBY ” in green, if ACARS communications between the aircraft and the ground are
lost.
If the SATCOM is installed, the display shows “SATCOM ALERT” in green, when a message with
a priority level below 4 is received from the ground.
