assignment of an unauthorized 24-bit aircrnft address. It is intended that the telnporary nddress is to be relinquished as soon as prncticnble when the
24-bit aircraft address is assigned by a State of Registry or common mark registering authority in conformance with the provisions in 4, 5 and 6 of this
Appendix. The Stnte concerned is then expected to inform ICAO or its designatc regarding the release of the temporary address.
