Temporary revision to advise the flight crew of the following:
FMS limitation applicable to airplanes 5631 and subsequent and airplanes incorporating
Canadair Service Bulletin 604−34−042.
ACTION
Add the following to paragraph 1.:
On airplanes 5631 and subsequent and airplanes incorporating Canadair Service Bulletin
604−34−042:
For a WET runway condition selection on the FMS performance (Approach Ref page),
a VSPEED OUT OF RANGE scratchpad message will be posted. At this time, the AFM
performance tables must be used to crosscheck the performance data posted by the FMS.

Thrust setting data and V speed data must be determined using the performance data
contained in this AFM and not using the FMS.
The performance database, part number 815−2058−001, must be verified to be current
and valid.
The following V speed database must be verified to be current and valid:
Airplanes 5301 to 5639 without SB 604−11−001 part number 815−2055−002
Airplanes 5640 and Subs and
Airplanes 5301 to 5639 with SB 604−11−001 part number 815−2054−002
On airplanes NOT incorporating Canadair Service Bulletin 604−34−035:
The following V speed database must be verified to be current and valid:
Airplanes 5301 to 5639 without SB 604−11−001 part number 815−2055−001
Airplanes 5640 and Subs and
Airplanes 5301 to 5639 with SB 604−11−001 part number 815−2054−001
