_______ HYDRAULIC POWER IS SUPPLIED. AILERONS, ELEVATORS, RUDDER, FLAPS, FLAPS, SLATS, SPOILERS, AND STABILIZER ARE FULLY POWERED SURFACES. INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR WHEN HYDRAULIC POWER IS SUPPLIED.

Do the deactivation procedure for the spoilers (AMM 27-61-00/201) or move all persons and equipment away from the spoilers.

Remove electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

(3)
Open this circuit breaker on the main power distribution panel (referred to as the P6 panel) and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
(a) 6A6, DC BUS TIE CONT

WARNING: REMOVE ALL ELECTRICAL POWER FROM THE AIRPLANE BEFORE YOU OPEN THE
_______ P6 PANEL. VOLTAGES IN THE P6 PANEL CAN CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY TO PERSONS
(4) Open the P6 panel.

D. Remove the DC Tie Control Unit

(1) Do these steps to remove the DC tie control unit:
(a)
Remove the electrical connector from the DC tie control unit.
(b)
Remove the four screws that hold the DC tie control unit.
(c)
Remove the DC tie control unit.

Put the DC tie control unit in position in the P6 panel.
(b)
Install the four screws that hold the DC tie control unit.
(c)
Connect the electrical connector to the DC tie control unit.

Close the P6 panel.

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close this circuit breaker on the P6 panel:
(a) 6A6, DC BUS TIE CONT
D. Do a Test of the DC Tie Control Unit Installation.

(2) S 864-012Make sure these circuit breakers on the P6 panel are closed: (a) 6C11, L DC VOLT SENSE (b) 6D9, TIE L (c) 6H9, TIE R (d) 6H10, R DC VOLT SENSE
(3) S 864-034Make sure the L TRU circuit breaker on the P6 or P31 panel is closed: (a) 6C17 or 31EE2, L TRU
(4) S 864-045Make sure the R TRU circuit breaker on the P6 or P32 panel is closed: (a) 6C23 or 32EE2, R TRU
(5) S 864-013Make sure the six EICAS circuit breakers on the overhead circuit breaker panel (referred to as the P11 panel) are closed:
