Visually inspect tracks for contamination Leading edge actuator malfunction Check aileron, flap and spoiler surface rigging Check track support fittings for tightness and check track shims Check hinge bushing, check for interference between fairing and mechanism, and check support arm roller travel in track Check rollers for wear and deterioration Check leveling of balls Check forward support thrust bearing for wear and deterioration Check rigging of leaf springs Replace detent or readjust. Clean and lubricate tracks. Replace actuator Rerig, if required, or reshim outboard flapsTighten and/or add shims as required. Recheck WCP alignment with trailing edgesReplace and/or readjust Replace AdjustReplace and recheck WCP alignment with trailing edgesAdjust springs and adjust flaps trailing edge alignment

Consistent trim change, when flaps move from flap 0 to flap 1, of 60 to 120 control wheel Consistent trim requirements of 60 to 120control wheel with WCP trailing edge rigging within tolerances and symmetrical Consistent trim requirements of 60 to 120control wheel at flaps 15 to 40 only Outboard midflap deflection control stop outboard roller Rub strip interference with outboard end of outboard midflap Outboard flap screw fairings Warped flap or aileron surface Drive screw upstop clearance rigging Flaps 40 mid-to-airflap gaps Check clearance between ramp and roller Check clearance between rub strip and midflap Check fairing preload Check surface trailing edges for straightness within .12 inch for full length Check outboard flap screws upstop clearances Check gap symmetry Adjust ramp for proper clearance. Recheck WCP trailing edge alignment Shim flap carriages and adjust deflection ramp. Recheck WCP trailing edge alignment Readjust Replace warped components Adjust as required Adjust symmetry within .05 inch
