‐ Enter the column corresponding to 3 500 m.
‐ Read the maximum takeoff weight on the line corresponding to the temperature of 30 °C :

DETERMINATION OF A PRECISE FLEXIBLE TEMPERATURE FOR THE ACTUAL TAKEOFF
WEIGHT OF 240 000 KG:

‐ Interpolate the temperature corresponding to 240 000 kg for the runway length of 3 535 m at
1 000 ft and 2 000 ft pressure altitude.
Results :
1 000 ft : 45 °C, V1 = 141 kt, VR = 148 kt, V2 = 155 kt
2 000 ft : 41 °C, V1 = 140 kt, VR = 148 kt, V2 = 155 kt
‐ Interpolate between these two values to get the flexible temperature.
