• Using LPC NG application: links of LPC Browser MEL with performances modules for

• Retrieval of the aircraft MSN number from LPC NG main menu,
• Links with EFF for the storage of a consulted DU (on A380 Class 3),
• Links with Logbook for the sharing of MEL items (on A380 Class 3),
• Links with CMS for retrieving MEL items after a fault or an ECAM warning (on A380 Class
3).

6. DETAILS ON OPERATIONAL PROCESSES
6.1 INFRASTRUCTURE DETAILS
Flight Ops Doc Manager application is a client / server based application:
• The server runs on a PC with 2GB of RAM minimum using Windows and Java 1.4.2,
• The client runs on a PC using Windows and Java 1.4.2,
• The database server is JDBC compliant (Hsqldb, PostgreSQL or Oracle).
LPC Browser is a Java application that can be installed:
• Either on a local hard drive, classic PC Windows and Linux using Java 1.4.2,
• Or from a distant server, using shared folders or HTTP protocol,
• Installed as a module of the LPC NG application,
• LPC Browser also runs from an autorun CD/DVD.
