Kinetic Energy (BKE) for a maximum effort landing (full brake
application at touchdown) exceeds 57 MFP, making fuseplug release
possible. If brake application is delayed following touchdown, the
resulting lower level of BKEs can be determined from GIV Airplane
Flight Manual Appendix C, GIV-SP Brake Kinetic Energy and Carbon
Brake Cooling.
Limits shown in the charts that follow are conservative in nature and
represent a combination of worst-case conditions, i.e., maximum
temperature at a given altitude plus a 2% downhill runway slope.
These limits apply to a nil or headwind condition only.
