CHAPTER 2. FLIGHT OPEkiTIONS
2.1 Operating facilities
2.1.1 An opcrator shall ensurc that a tlight will not be
cornmenccd ullless jr has been ascertained by every reasonable
means availal>le that the ground andor watcr facilities
available and directly requircd on such flight, for the safe
operation of the helicopter and the protection of the
passengers, are adequate for [he type of operation under which
the tlight is to be conducted and are adequately operated for
this purpose.

2.2.1.4 The continued validity of an air operator
certificate or equivalent document shall depend upon the
operator maintaining the requirements of 1.2.1.3 under the
supervision of the State of thc Operator.
